Overview
Unico Connect is seeking a WeWeb Developer to build professional web apps using WeWeb backed by Xano, Supabase, or REST APIs. The role combines WeWeb's visual builder with custom JavaScript and Vue.js extensions where needed. The position is well suited to early-career no-code developers with strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals and the willingness to deepen across no-code platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Build WeWeb apps backed by Xano, Supabase, or REST APIs
- Translate Figma designs into responsive WeWeb interfaces
- Implement complex workflows, conditional logic, and dynamic content
- Write JavaScript and custom components where WeWeb needs extending
- Integrate authentication providers (Auth0, Xano Auth, Supabase Auth)
- Set up deployments, domain configuration, and DNS management
- Pair with senior WeWeb developers on advanced architecture
- Maintain technical documentation for owned WeWeb apps and integrations
- Participate in client training on WeWeb usage and content management
- Contribute to internal WeWeb templates and shared component libraries
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or strong portfolio of WeWeb projects
- 1-3 years of no-code or frontend development with WeWeb exposure
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
- Hands-on with Xano or Supabase as a backend
- Familiar with REST APIs and JSON
- Working knowledge of responsive design and accessibility basics
- Comfort matching designer specs precisely
- Capacity to write custom JavaScript for WeWeb workflows
- Excellent written communication for client documentation
- Comfort with Git for custom code versioning
Preferred Qualifications
- Vue.js (which powers WeWeb under the hood)
- Bubble or other no-code platforms for comparison
- Tailwind CSS
- Open-source WeWeb component contributions
- Hands-on with serverless functions
AI Tools Proficiency
Production engineering at Unico Connect assumes AI tools form part of the daily workflow rather than an experimental augmentation. For this role specifically:
- Cursor or Claude Code for custom JavaScript and Vue components
- Claude or ChatGPT for workflow design and debugging
- AI-augmented Figma to WeWeb handoff tooling
- GitHub Copilot for inline code suggestions
