Overview
Unico Connect is seeking a Senior WeWeb Developer to lead complex WeWeb builds backed by Xano, Supabase, or custom APIs. The role architects scalable no-code apps with multi-tenant patterns, RBAC, and integrations that hold up under enterprise load. The position is well suited to senior frontend or no-code engineers with strong Vue.js fundamentals and a track record of leading complex WeWeb engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect complex WeWeb apps with multi-tenant patterns, RBAC, and integrations
- Lead Xano or Supabase backend design that powers WeWeb frontends
- Build custom Vue.js components that extend WeWeb's primitives
- Mentor 1-2 junior WeWeb developers through code reviews and design discussions
- Drive performance, accessibility, and SEO across owned WeWeb projects
- Lead WeWeb to custom code migrations when products outgrow the visual layer
- Author internal WeWeb playbooks and onboarding documentation
- Govern security posture including auth flows and tenant isolation
- Calibrate the WeWeb interview bar and conduct senior interview loops
- Represent WeWeb capability in client architecture conversations
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years building production web apps, with at least 2 years on WeWeb
- Strong Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript fundamentals
- Deep Xano or Supabase production experience
- Familiar with auth providers (Auth0, Supabase Auth, Xano Auth), multi-tenancy, and RBAC
- Hands-on with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Capacity to lead architecture conversations with clients
- Excellent code review, mentorship, and written communication skills
- Track record of shipping multiple WeWeb apps to production
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA)
- Bachelor's degree or strong WeWeb portfolio in lieu
Preferred Qualifications
- Open-source WeWeb component author
- Backend coding in Node.js or Python for custom services
- Bubble or other no-code platform expertise
- Conference talks on no-code at scale
- Cypress or Playwright for end-to-end testing
AI Tools Proficiency
Production engineering at Unico Connect assumes AI tools form part of the daily workflow rather than an experimental augmentation. For this role specifically:
- Cursor or Claude Code for Vue components and API integrations
- Claude for WeWeb workflow design and architecture review
- AI-augmented Figma to WeWeb handoff
- Perplexity for technical research on integrations
