Essential at $85 per month gives you dedicated infrastructure, three workspaces, five team seats, no API rate limit, unlimited records, 100 GB of storage, and 7 day rolling backups. Pro at $224 per month adds five workspaces, ten team seats, 250 GB of storage, a managed load balancer, 14 day rolling backups, a 99.99% SLA, and unlimited background tasks.

For most teams, yes, on total cost of ownership. A Xano subscription replaces the server, database, and API layer you would otherwise build and maintain, which cuts both build time and ongoing DevOps. The trade is a platform fee instead of infrastructure and engineering hours. For high or unusual scale, a custom backend can still be the right call.
