Overview
Unico Connect is seeking a Webflow Developer to build high-converting Webflow marketing sites for client engagements. The role spans pixel-perfect Figma builds, Webflow CMS architecture, on-page SEO setup, and the custom JavaScript or CSS work that goes beyond Webflow defaults. The position is well suited to early-career Webflow developers with strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Webflow sites from Figma designs with pixel-perfect fidelity
- Architect Webflow CMS structures for client-managed content
- Implement on-page SEO including meta tags, structured data, sitemaps, and Open Graph
- Write custom JavaScript and CSS where Webflow defaults fall short
- Integrate analytics (GA4, GTM, Hotjar) and form handlers
- Optimise Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse scores
- Pair with senior Webflow developers on advanced interactions and animations
- Maintain technical documentation for owned Webflow sites and integrations
- Participate in client training sessions on Webflow CMS usage
- Contribute to internal Webflow templates and component libraries
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- 1-3 years of Webflow development with shipped production sites
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
- Hands-on with Webflow CMS, interactions, and animations
- Working knowledge of SEO and analytics setup
- Comfortable matching designer specs precisely
- Familiarity with accessibility basics and responsive design
- Capacity to write custom JavaScript for Webflow integrations
- Excellent written communication for client documentation
- Comfort with Git for custom code versioning
Preferred Qualifications
- Headless Webflow with Next.js or Astro
- GSAP or Lottie animation experience
- Memberstack, Outseta, or other auth integrations
- Open-source Webflow component contributions
- Webflow Expert certification
AI Tools Proficiency
Production engineering at Unico Connect assumes AI tools form part of the daily workflow rather than an experimental augmentation. For this role specifically:
- Cursor or Claude Code for custom JavaScript and CSS
- Claude or ChatGPT for SEO copy and meta tag drafting
- AI-augmented Figma to Webflow handoff tooling
- AI SEO tools (Surfer AI, Ahrefs AI) for on-page optimisation
