Overview
Unico Connect is seeking a Senior Webflow Developer to lead complex Webflow builds across enterprise marketing sites, e-commerce, and headless setups. The role owns SEO architecture, Core Web Vitals optimisation, accessibility, and the Webflow to Next.js or Astro migrations that take products beyond no-code constraints. The position is well suited to senior Webflow developers with deep CSS, JavaScript, and headless architecture experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect complex Webflow sites including e-commerce, multilingual, and headless setups
- Build and maintain advanced Webflow CMS structures with collection lists and nested references
- Lead headless Webflow with Next.js or Astro architectures
- Drive SEO including schema.org, sitemap generation, Core Web Vitals, and international SEO
- Mentor 1-2 junior Webflow developers through code reviews and design discussions
- Implement complex interactions, animations (GSAP, Lottie), and 3D (Spline)
- Govern Webflow security and compliance posture for client sites
- Lead Webflow Ecommerce or Memberships implementations
- Author internal Webflow playbooks and onboarding documentation
- Calibrate the Webflow interview bar and conduct senior interview loops
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Webflow development with at least 2 in a senior or lead role
- Deep CSS, JavaScript, and DOM knowledge
- Hands-on with headless Webflow setups (Next.js, Astro)
- Strong SEO and Core Web Vitals expertise
- Production experience with Webflow Ecommerce or Memberships
- Capacity to lead client conversations on architecture and trade-offs
- Excellent code review and written communication skills
- Track record of mentoring junior Webflow developers
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA)
- Bachelor's degree or strong Webflow portfolio in lieu
Preferred Qualifications
- Webflow Expert certification
- GSAP or Lottie expertise
- 3D or WebGL (Spline, Three.js) work
- Open-source contributions to Webflow ecosystem
- Conference talks on Webflow at scale
AI Tools Proficiency
Production engineering at Unico Connect assumes AI tools form part of the daily workflow rather than an experimental augmentation. For this role specifically:
- Cursor or Claude Code for custom JavaScript and Next.js
- AI SEO tools (Ahrefs AI, Surfer AI) for on-page optimisation
- AI-augmented Figma to Webflow handoff
- Claude or ChatGPT for technical writing and architecture reviews
