Overview
Unico Connect is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for client products spanning AI, B2B SaaS, marketplaces, and FinTech. The role owns end-to-end product lifecycle including discovery, prioritisation, delivery, and post-launch instrumentation, with a strict orientation toward measurable outcomes over feature counts. The position is well suited to product leaders who blend strong technical judgement with deep customer research instincts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product lifecycle for 2-3 client products at a time, from discovery to post-launch iteration
- Run product discovery through customer interviews, problem framing, jobs-to-be-done analysis, and opportunity sizing
- Define product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria with design and engineering
- Prioritise the roadmap using RICE or ICE; tie each initiative to a measurable client outcome
- Instrument products with analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4) and run growth and reliability experiments
- Drive cross-functional rituals: project kickoffs, design reviews, product demos, sprint retrospectives
- Mentor 1-2 Associate Product Managers and embedded product designers
- Own client-facing product reviews and roadmap conversations across multiple time zones
- Define and track north-star and counter-metrics for owned products
- Partner with Engineering leadership to balance product debt, platform investment, and feature delivery
- Lead post-mortems on product launches that did not move the intended metric
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management at a B2B SaaS, marketplace, FinTech, or AI product
- Shipped at least 1 product from 0 to 1 and 1 product from 1 to 10
- Deep proficiency in product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or GA4
- Strong design sense; able to collaborate fluently with senior designers and challenge design decisions
- Comfortable reading code, evaluating technical trade-offs, and pushing back when scope is unrealistic
- Excellent written communication; PRDs, decision documents, and async memos are the default working medium
- Track record of running customer discovery programs and synthesising findings into product direction
- Experience prioritising under constrained engineering bandwidth
- Strong commercial judgement; can connect product decisions to revenue and retention
- Capacity to present to executive stakeholders, founders, and client business teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering or product design background
- Experience with AI-first or LLM-based products
- Prior agency or consulting experience working with international clients
- Hands-on with product growth and lifecycle marketing tooling
- Experience operating in regulated industries (FinTech, healthcare, education)
AI Tools Proficiency
Production engineering at Unico Connect assumes AI tools form part of the daily workflow rather than an experimental augmentation. For this role specifically:
- Claude or ChatGPT for PRD drafting, competitive analysis, and synthesising customer interviews
- Notion AI for product documentation and decision archives
- Figma AI for early-stage mocks and design exploration
- Cursor for reading product code when evaluating technical scope
- Perplexity for market and competitive research
