We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer - WeWeb . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications with WeWeb tools. As a member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and technical direction of our projects.

Responsibilities

Understanding of Basic Web Development Concepts:

-While in-depth coding knowledge may not be necessary, a foundational understanding of how web applications work, including HTTP, web servers, databases, and the basics of HTML/CSS, is advantageous.

Understanding Requirements:

-Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional web applications.

Designing UI/UX:

-Utilizing Weweb's visual editor to design user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and optimized for user experience.

Building Features:

-Assembling the required elements of the app such as databases, forms, and other components with or without the need for traditional coding.

Integrating APIs:

-Connecting to external services and APIs to extend the functionality of the web application while using Weweb's interface to manage these connections.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

-Ensuring the web application functions correctly across different devices and browsers, and fixing any bugs or issues that arise.

Deployment:

-Publishing the web application to a server or using WeWeb hosting services, managing domain settings, and ensuring the site is live and accessible.

Maintenance:

-Regularly updating the application to incorporate new features or improvements, and making sure it remains functional and secure over time.

Problem-Solving Skills:

-Previous experience in any field that requires problem-solving will be beneficial, as developing applications, even with no-code tools, involves addressing functional and logistical challenges.

Staying Updated:

-Keeping up-to-date with the latest Frontend development principle and WeWeb features, updates, and best practices in the no-code development space.

Requirements

Education:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills:

-Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.

-Basic idea of the back-end development and server-side scripting.

-Knowledge of web development tools and version control systems.

Programming Languages:

-Depending on the job, proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, React JS, etc.

Database Knowledge:

-Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Problem-Solving Skills:

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues efficiently.

Communication and Collaboration:

-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Adaptability:

-Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

Portfolio:

-A portfolio of previous web development projects may be required, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality solutions.
